Women Penalized For Having Uteruses

Thu Apr 05, 2007 at 05:18:01 PM PDT

A recently published Harvard Study shows women are penalized more by high-deductable health-care plans due to the fact that, we'll, we're women.

Turkey, sweet potatoes and Frank

We have weapons of mass destruction we have to address here at home. Poverty is a weapon of mass destruction. Homelessness is a weapon of mass destruction. Unemployment is a weapon of mass destruction.
-Dennis Kucinich

My Thanksgiving started out as any other – with me forgetting an ingredient needed in one of the dishes I was planning on making. Little did I know that a short trip to the grocery store would lead to a reason to a chance meeting that will give me a reason to be thankful... and mad.  Follow me past the fold...

Rangel wants to bring back the draft (again)

Sun Nov 19, 2006 at 05:57:35 PM PDT

This week, many teens and young adults have had one thing on their minds: getting their hands on the latest video game consoles to hit the market. While many may enjoy playing SoCom: Navy Seal, if Charlie Rangel gets his way, they'll get the chance to act out their fantasies.

A Bittersweet 48 Hours

Thu Nov 09, 2006 at 06:49:02 PM PDT

Mon Sep 04, 2006 at 12:50:58 AM PDT

I commute. Actually, I commute quite a bit - on average, I would say I spend at least 3 hours in my car daily. Instead of cursing the cost of living in Southern California, I decided to make the best of the situation by investing in an XM Radio system. The good news is that I get to listen to Keith Olbermann almost daily. The bad news? I am also subjected to the twisted logic of Tucker Carlson. Please follow me beyond the cut as I explore his latest allegation....

"Mayor Won't Give Back Dead Marine's Money"

Sat Apr 29, 2006 at 02:09:58 PM PDT

Everyday, I am amazed by the actions of individuals and politicians towards our servicemen and women, and their families. In a small town in Colorado, a mother has been fighting a legal battle for her son's savings account. Her legal foe? The director of the local funeral parlor... who happens to be the town's mayor.

The Feds are taking plate numbers

Tue Mar 28, 2006 at 12:11:44 PM PDT

Please forgive me if someone has already posted on this topic, and if they have, I'll delete this. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, now the Feds are taking down licence plate numbers of cars at protest sites.
